Q: What is a FAQ?
A: FAQ is an acronym for "frequently asked questions." The following are some of the most common questions potential clients have concerning our services.
Q: Is the retainer method my best option for purchasing services?
A: Retainer packages are usually for general administrative services. If you know how many hours you would like to purchase each month, the retainer option is probably best for you. With the retainer option, you prepay for a set number of contracted hours. Each week you will receive a progress invoice and time sheet showing how many hours were used on your project.
Q: What if I don't use all of the retainer hours that I purchased?
A: Hours do not roll over. Weekly progress reports are sent so that you can track the hours and, if necessary, send us more work to utilize the remainder of your unused hours.
Q: What if I didn't purchase enough hours to complete my project:
A: It is important that we establish an accurate estimate of the time it will take to complete your project. Prior to signing a contract, we offer a FREE consultation to discuss the details of your project, including materials and associated timelines. If you have used all of your contracted hours and the project is not complete, you may purchase additional hours toward completion of the project. If you do not purchase additional hours, your partially completed project will be returned to you "as is".
Q: What if the retainer method isn't ideal for me?
A: Specialized services are generally purchased on an hourly basis. You may also purchase general administrative services on an hourly basis. Prior to signing a contract, you will receive a FREE consultation to discuss the details of your project, including materials and associated timelines. Hourly rates require a deposit, with the balance due upon completion of the project. There is a three-hour minimum for purchasing hourly services.
Q: How do we share files or programs?
A: We collaborate via mail, phone, fax, web conferencing, and email. You decide whether you would like for us to log into your network to share documents and programs, or if you would prefer to log into our secure MS SharePoint Server Business Applications dashboard for file sharing. Business Applications is a collection of password-protected lists, libraries, workspaces, and tools that allows collaborating with clients and coworkers. For your added security, access to our secure dashboard is not available from our website. Client login is through an "invitation only" link embedded in an email sent directly to your inbox. Depending on your current email service, you may not need to memorize another login/password!
Q: Do I have to pay any payroll taxes for your services?
A: No. We are independent contractors, and not employees of your company so you do not pay federal, state or local taxes on our behalf.
Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: We accept e-checks and credit card payments via PayPal. For your added security, payments are not made through our website. We will email you an invoice for services rendered. Simply click the "PayPal" button in the email to make your payment.
